Andddd there's that not so rare case having to deal with both simultaneously. Not sure what's worse, living in fear of society being assholes to you or being too poor to blend in enough to keep them from being assholes to you. This seems obvious to me, but you seem to be on the defensive so maybe it's not obvious to you: "conservative hetero dumbfuck Christians" is not the same set of people as "all Christians (including John Brown) throughout history". The former is very clearly a much smaller subset of the latter ... just like how the set of people who actually follow Christ's teachings is a tiny tiny fraction of the "all Christians throughout history" set.

Brown was accompanied by the sheriff and his assistants, but no minister since he had consistently rejected the ministrations of pro-slavery clergy. Since the region was in the grips of virtual hysteria, most northerners, including journalists, were run out of town, and it is unlikely any anti-slavery clergyman would have been safe, even if one were to have sought to visit Brown.

I am all for letting trannies live their lives as they wish. But those who are not comfortable with it, shouldn't have it forced down their throats either. Freedom of association. No male genitals in women's bathrooms, no forcing bakers to make a cake celebrating non-binary stuff, no designers having to make a dress for Melania Trump, no pedophiles teaching kids in classrooms or leading scout troops, no pastors being forced to lead marriage ceremonies for same-sex weddings. Oh wait, you think that is cool to force straights to do that sh!t, but preaching for procreation-able partnerships is bigoted and intrusive. You are just as guilty of poking your nose in others' business as you complain that others are doing to you, so feel free to F off.

Dude the military has to buy this country's propaganda -- that goes with the territory. America is the country of individual liberty -- not Christian community values.
