I have a different memory of GG. I vaguely recall him auctioning or giving away food/drink (crafted stuff iirc) in the tunnel and always being cheerful and friendly.

I took a long break, came back to p99 and found out he had become a guide then was banished from p99 for reasons I still don't know.

I know he went to war with the p99 staff, I just never heard why.

He had one of the worst, if not the worst, breakdowns in server history. All of the good deeds he did could not make up for the manchild fit he threw. Unfortunately, his cult like followers did not see it that way until bans started getting handed out. But it was clear as day to me the guy was unstable.

We weren't a cult. And have been worse meltdowns just nothing that was as documented as the GG Scandal.

I'm talking about the people who drank the koolaid and ended up eating bans by partaking in his breakdown. Not the people that were enjoying his RPing.

From what I can remember he was removed from staff. He wanted to make changes that himself and some players thought were for the betterment of the community. What he and many others didn't understand is this isn't their playground. That's just the reality of it.

Feel like he was an anti-corruption crazy person compared the usual corrupt crazy person most of them turn out to be. I'll take GG's type of crazy over Amelinda / Derubael / that other one. Now Uthgard crazy... that's in another category and we could definitely use his instant karma style of management back.
