Are people really raging at people that showed OP support? This just got real bros. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Honestly OP, just petition the KSer next time. This guy fully knew what he was doing, and was unnecessarily abusive with highly offensive language, totally uncalled for.

Personally I stay away from trash heaps like SFs and HGs due to them attracting the dirtiest nastiest flies that swarm to them in hopes of getting rich via farming them despite the mobs being vastly low con to them.

That's a pretty powerful affirmation from somebody who was not there.
Did you think to ask Thoast (the guy the log starts with), whom I had been pulling next to and shooting the s*** with, about why he /OOCed that 3 mobs in a row had been robbed from him while I was making my merchant run??

Please explain to me how I could have baited running for freshly spawned giants because I'm not personally aware of any tactics to do this. it seems to me that you aggro first or you don't.

This was not "an intense situation" as casperonacid put it. This was KSing of some hill giants. That's not a big deal in and of it self. Despite attempts to make this look like some kind of RICO case, it's really much more simple than that and it would have remained that way had Failethe not called me "faggot" and tried to use 'hitting the mob at the same time' which isn't possible, as a pass for taking whatever they could get.
I don't care to petition over something that is not a named/dragon/raid situation.

A simple "I'll try to be mindful of FTE and other people" could easily have been the end of all of this. At this point, I think it is safe enough for me to assume that they will probably do that. I'm done here.

The most epic thing I ever saw on Sea Fury island was a ranger in his 40s very slowly quad kiting Cyclopses with the spell 'Invoke Lightning' over the period of around 20 mins... and definitely not just to deny level 60 necromancers from the level 40 content they were farming!

I hope the hill does not become so saturated with 60s that measures such as ranger quad nor dwarf warrior thieves need to be deployed again.

Eh that's a pretty grey area.... sometimes its fun to try something your class/level really shouldn't be doing just to see if you can. Nor are all classes created equally.

When I was leveling up my druid there was a ranger "Quadding" otters in CS , with the bow from Wuoshi (procs a low level quad nuke). While it was entirely possible for him/her to do it and kill the otters having no problems in doing so several times it did take her quads almost literally nearly 3x or more the amount of time it would take a Druid of efficient level to pull and dump their mana bar and kill a single quad pull of the otters.

But seeing as she was able to kill her quads with no issues (other than it taking a long time relying on procs from the bow) I don't really see anything wrong with it, because thats just what their class is capable of in that situation. Is it silly, inefficent and entirely impractical compared to what others classes can do? absolutely. But they are just playing their class and trying to challenge themselves in their own special ranger way...

Ranger in a nutshell. Took my ranger at lvl 59 over 10 minutes to solo A Frenzied Velium Broodling. Kinda embarrassing!

I'm not going to lie. I have farmed DF belts on Jimjam... admittedly only while waiting on rezzes though!

And I turn em in to Deputy Budo for that sweet juice!

My favorite is when you are on a lowbie and you head to orc1 to XP and you find a pet parked in the middle of the camp with no one around... So, then you head to orc2 and there's some high lvl dude killing all orcs there only to then run to orc1 sending his pet to kill the orcs at orc1 from its parked location.

Everyone always has a video, but they choose not to post it. No one wants to dissect a log of nerds killing HG's in 2017.
