I think the most vehement people against the idea are really just the ones who have the gear that drops and don't want anyone else to have it

When 11 people have that sick Monk only robe, they probably want to keep it that way to make it more "special"

Classic EQ wasn't "everyone gets to see, do, and acquire everything". If that's what you want there are other servers for it.

This I like. If you kill the last warder, everyone on the encounter log for that mob has their character is deleted.

Would make for some great custom content.

What "Classic EQ" is and is not seems to be a sliding scale, and depends entirely on whose talking.

Other than actual, coded game mechanics, no one can really say "Classic EQ is" because basically they're just talking about what they think and not what they know.

First and foremost P99 is about reliving EQ. Crying that it shouldn't be reset is stupid. There is no con to this.

Except it'll get woke as soon as it shuts its eyes, so you'll either have consistent respawns to satisfy the masses, particularly the losing guild's lawyerquesting because they lost...or the party is over as soon as it begins and there isn't a 3rd respawn.
