Turns out Soy has the properties of a weed, very strong, and very easy to modify its DNA to a desired result. Makes for good return$ on investment.

The main problem was it was rejected in Asia and Europe, they needed to create a market for the goys because legitimately there were NO BUYERS of this weirdo weed product.

They launched a massive campaign in the 1970's and the posts in this thread are a direct result of that marketing campaign's success.

You don't have to eat it. The only reason it's so prevalent is because it's cheap/nearly free because of the primary purpose it serves in crop rotations.
