In 1991, I was purely a Nintendo system person. NES, Gameboy, SNES. I bought the systems and games with my own saved allowance money from doing chores, so each system and game was a well-planned, well-researched purchase. When games came out for both SNES and Genesis, I was "stuck" with only getting the SNES version.

I had played the Sega Genesis at various friends houses, but it never occurred to me that I could simply own both. Once Sonic the Hedgehog came out, I couldn't resist the Genesis any longer and took the plunge, right in time for a renaissance of 90s multi-system game releases. Mortal Kombat 1? Genesis. Disney's Aladdin? Genesis. Street Fighter II Turbo? Both. (heh).

The SNES became my RPG/Adventure haven and my Genesis became my platforming/fighting/beat'em'up/shmup system. I even expanded it with a Sega CD.

Moral to the story: Get both. Then pick and choose what tickles you.

it was like 1 ride out of a parking lot full of rides. even the shitty college I went to had a few guys whipping 30-50k thangs. This guy from Philly had a full blown racing Volvo with NOS, low profile kit, 8k in rims, and a system in it. He was a fucking nobody.

The high school was a regional private school in the northeast. most guys were going to Harvard, Dartmouth, Stanford, Notre, Princeton, so there couldn't be any douches because everyone worshipped success and anyone driving a beater was the loser and shunned.

It wasn't until I got to a shitty college and bought my first big wheels in my 5th or 6th year of college that I ran into the uneducated plebs who had Benz dick in their mouth regardless of how used and lowbrow the Benz model was. I still kinda hate these people, why try to be something youre not? Fake Benz is obnoxious I think even you'd agree if you had more education on the market.
