DKP is great if your guild regularlly downs targets and gets loot, but on blue for example, its terrible, becuse its like your guild fucking kills a target worth looting something on your main, maybe once a month.. so you have guilds full of members, banking huge DKP so it prevents anyone less than the top tear beards in the guild the ability to loot big ticket items...
I think in empire DKP woulda worked really well, becuse we basically got loot non stop, aka there is plenty to spend dkp on.. Like seriously on blue you're like, cool we get 1 gaunts of fiery might a week. DKP/Loot council is terribad, its all the worst things about both.
