It seems to be a innoruuk sumbol, which makes sense, but it also looks a lot like the veeshan symbol ( which is in the center of that shissar doomsday calendar, thingy that's everywhere...you know.. the glowing thing on the spectre tower in oasis for instance )

It's just the smallest tree that I've seen in EQ : D I stumbled upon it one day out in the middle of no where in south karana and it instantly became an inside joke to me and my brother.

Damn good stuff, man.

I use to wonder about so much stuff like this growing up and playing the game.

I know a lot of people didn't care for either expansion but Luclin and Planes of Power (PoP in particular) had some amazing lore and little details thrown in.

Also, they kind of half-assedly explained Ro and the Oasis in later expansions (LDoN plus one other loooong after that). Same with stuff involving the Kedge and a handful of other lore loopholes.
