Yea I highly recommend at least the char textures. It keeps shit classic and really just removes the blur. It is just HD remastered EQ and it is awesome!
I can't wait until the whole game is done ) it is gonna be badass.

I was just told by the updater that some shields / weapons was not fully complete and is still being worked on that is why no official release yet.

Here is the orb shield , I believe it is still the same , ill let ya know when he responds about the particles and orb type items and how the HD update will effect them.

I'm most excited about the HD zone upgrades. Lots of still blurry textures even with the higher resolution Luclin texture pack.

1.) (optional) Back-up all current .s3d files in your Everquest folder (sort file types by using find in windows)
2.) Download Textures: http://p99.yourfirefly.com/ the best is the High-res S3D files from EQ Trilogy.
3.) extract RAR to your EQ folder (rewrite all)

Hold off on doing the zones individually.
Cucumbers is a mastermind and is completing stuff left and right.
I promise it is worth the wait.
Once the new project is completed it will include everything in one easy package.

Just curious about the process being used for these textures. Looks like they're being posterized but i'm sure there's another step in there somewhere. Very nice work to whoever is doing it though!
