so is it any helm item from velious that gives these cool looking graphics or is it only certain helmets from dragons/bosses?

Not every helm, most of the high end quested ones and some others like cowl of morality.

Ahh ok couldn't remember which cleric it was. Still love the gnome help graphic. For some reason every time I see it I think of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
