So I'll chime in here for the lols. I don't think lite is serious, and most of this thread is a troll, but what the hell.

Remember, we do not condone nor support account sharing. Think of it like banging some chick without a condom. You're taking the chance of being connected to every other person that logged into that account. Trust all your friends?

When we do RMT investigations, we cross check login history. If you have logged into an account involved with RMT, you get banned just the same. Or if an RMTer logs into your account, and we find them, your account will be banned. After some time and we verify no RMT took place we may release, but those sorts of verifications are a very low priority given they are VERY time consuming, and you nerds shouldn't be sharing account info anyway.

Word to the wise, only login to accounts you own and no others. If you're thinking about a VPN, go ahead and try. It's not worked for many other people, but fuck you might get lucky right?

Real RMTers bog down the system copping fake pleas, seen it several times already.

They all have a story to tell, it would take time to sort out who's worthy and who isn't.

Sirken said 95% of the pleas are frauds. I can see how it would take several months to shape up a story.

Eh that depends. There has been a LONG wait lately as we had a snag internally with looking up info.

Right now we're severely understaffed, so I have a number of these sorts of petitions piled up that I just don't have time to address.

It also depends on the circumstances. Did the RMTer login once? twice? a hundred times? It's those where the logins are few and far between where we can easily unban and move on.

Is it heavy-handed? Maybe a little. I won't ban an account if an RMTer has like 1 or 2 logins to. If I ban it's because the RMTer has been on the account a significant amount.

As I've said in some streams, when I do a big wave, I try to do it when I know I'll have an evening to just sit and watch the petition forum for false positives, and handle them quickly.
