Empire leaves so many mobs up, I don't get the problem.

You're reaching Ecoli levels of annoying weirdo that no one likes
I'm complaining about double standards. If nihilum is the same thing, then undo what derubael did or give empire the same treatment since people have posted so much fucking proof its I've been saying it since day 1. Shits a fucking joke. If you are too stupid to see that and want to compare me to ecoli, go for it.

I didn't read this whole thread but I feel like people are missing the point. The server population won't go up on Red because it's too hard for new players, not because some end-game guild BS. The lack of end-game competition is a symptom of the problem. Not the problem itself.

1) No economy. Impossible to buy starter gear for your toon, which forces people to play classes they don't really want to play and probably end up quitting.

2) Getting griefed by twinks in 100k+ worth of gear when you're in rags.

3) Impossible to find groups except during peak hours. Also sometimes very difficult to find a port to where you are trying to get to for exp.

4) Toxic chatter in /ooc constantly. People who like this would rather play WoW.

I'm playing here as a new player and enjoying it despite all of this, but these are the objections given to me when I try to recruit my friends to come over from Blue or other forms of EQ.

The only reason your point #1 is true is because of the exp bonus. If we want a real server it needs real rules. Otherwise it's this action hybrid game. Half Eq & half FPS. Very little consiquence to death etc. just a quick race to end game. Also part of the reason you find level 60s that don't even know how to get to naggys lair.

I dono, I love the xp bonus but I do think it's at fault for no mid level economy or player base.

i mean the only reason someone would be this invested in server politics and particularly on our hold of pixels is because they want them

also, small scale pvp doesn't even compare to good, even just decent, mass pvp

he's posting because lodi is fucking boring, they farm PoM on hours we have like 4 people on, his guildies probably don't like him, they look for boring fringe kills rather than head on battles 95% of the time, and he'd be probably stacked right now if he had kept his mouth shut instead of spouting off random, nonsense conspiracy theories about our guild days before a sow sword dropped

He acts like Nizzar and Nihilum didn't take a bigger shit on this server than any other guild.

It was OK tho because he was a part of it getting those pixels.

i mean, i jumped into this thread late cause i been hibernating but... if you guys are going to sit here and blame empire for locking the server down... you are retarded.

empire is one of the loosest zergs i have ever seen, all you need is numbers, you look around, everyone not in empire is your ally, anyone who is not in empire and says someone who is not in empire is not your ally is actually not your ally, boot that guy, he is the one making your server dead.

it honestly would not take much to take down empire, there is absolutely no pressure on them at all, to the point people who are loot to the raids can come and go as they please, no one locking them in. no late raid subs for people who have left and other people having to log in other classes to complete the raid.

right above is the first thing you could do to hurt them. slow them.

second piece of advice i have to give is that none of you will ever achieve anything on this server close enough to do even the first part of what i just mentioned so just quit and let empire have there server. none of you deserve a server.

I have more fun doing Kael with my casual scum bros that I have lvled with since lvl 1. Then I did doing Tov with empire... Colgate and gongshow were always cool with me even though I'm a "warm body" people always crying about empire....

Play have fun and when u beat them it makes it that much better

I mean if that's what they enjoy, fuck it.

But I can guarantee it's a small minority of that guild who share that mindset of basically living on the fringe and being on the periphery of everything important or interesting on this server. People want to mass PvP and contest for the most part.

Keep putting your voices in the hands of people who don't give two shits about competing (not that you can blame them, we'll never let Friends do anything substantial, and they know it's hopeless) and you'll never see shit happen.
