Farming plat is much easier than raiding on this server.

Both require commitment of time, and perhaps farming plat for raid items might take even more time than earning items while raiding. However, one can be done entirely at one's own leisure.

There aren't very many solo challenge artists. There are a lot of people who farm NG with their 60 ench and still manage to die there though.

Easy to lock down "raid" targets when you have an ever-rotating group of apps that are ineligible for drops bolstering your numbers and really making everything possible then a bunch of people that don't have to be good at EQ at all facetracking for 16 hours a weekend then you conveniently award drops to your inner circle

Some people wanna racetrack all day and act like they're all hardcore, then there are some people can actually play the game who want nothing to do with that horse shit
