Guys, look at it this way. Some criminals get busted, some dont. If the GMs dont see it and there isnt fraps and such, it'll probably happen without punishment.


On the other hand, when they DO see it, they do something about it. Its coincidences like that, and the fact that sirken is a power tripping neckbeard level 9000+ that makes it seem like theres favoritism.


I really dont think sirken is anything less than legit, if not a bit oblivious to some happenings (since he cant be everywhere at once) bottom line here is: dont blame sirken and accuse anyone of favoritism if youre stupid enough to break rules knowing the punishment, and bad enough to actually get caught doing it.

there was no previous warning given to any of us by any staff member, just four deathtouches and a deletion of the item that was on the king (lol)

until colgate talked to him and all he would say is "do the encounter the way it's intended" and not being able to tell us what exploit we were actually using

finally I got an answer of "don't do it on the rock" in Skype, of all things, after i reached out to message him

It would be reasonable and expected for defined rules for that engage to be posted, but because the rules keep changing it sounds like hes fucking high, not giving preferential treatment to anyone.

I was a Senior Guide on EQ Live during the petition era. I would never have been allowed to just randomly kill player's for questionable actions. Whatever happened to approaching people and saying, "Hi, Guide/GM XXX here, pulling the mob this way is not within the intentions of gameplay and you have been warned to stop doing so," rather than issuing DT's / suspensions etc.? But this is a free server, volunteers, etc., etc., you're in their world now, etc.

I just don't see why it's so hard to clearly lay out what isn't allowed? If you have the vocabulary it should be really easy.

For example:
- No killing the fungi/ph underwater
- No using line-of-sight to block additional adds while engaging the fungi/ph

It would be so incredibly easy to make it crystal clear to everyone what is and isn't allowed. Why don't you? It would be less work for you in the end.

Nobody really cares about looking good - we care about knowing the actual rules so we don't get in trouble for breaking them without knowing about them.
