Come time come loot. I started playing from server start. Best item I obtained so far was donal's bp with nihilum having hundreds of dkp from raiding in classic. Changed job and went mia. Joined the resistance Domingueros crew and never looked behind.
Dunno how it is in holo but doubt they are rewarding everyone equal. The point is, no guild leader/lootcouncil is fair and will make always right decisions. Best thing you can probably do not to guildhop and stay with one crew. Again its a matter of time when you will be rewarded and if you are not ok with it start your own guild and spend lots of time forming them up.
