People powerleveling is becoming extremely disappointing for someone trying to exp.

I think you are talking about someone else, I didn't do any of that. I'm talking about him being there SOLO, no one else with him. And I didn't ooc him. He actually rude emoted me thinking I killed his train when I zoned and a 60 killed it. But those are 2 separate incidents I'm talking about, and neither of them is what u are talking about.

Olsen is a nuisance on his own. I've encountered him multiple times and none of them was a positive or even neutral experience.

The time I did see u with him, I logged in and got trained 1 min later. My buddy came to duo with me a minute later and we got trained a second time. He decided to rude emote me for killing a train that he caused and clearly couldn't have handled, when in fact I zoned bc the train agroed my charmed pet. I zone back in, a 60 had killed the train, and Olsen rudes me for somehow as a solitary 26 enchanter mowing down his train of fire, cinder, and inferno goblins which is ridiculous. Your entire guild is known for noob playstyles, trains, and attempted camp stealing. That's what I meant when I said I wouldn't even bother with Shadows further. I proceeded to peace the fuck out and went to duo in paw/KFC for sick exp. Whole encounter from login to port took ten minutes.

OOCs are many times ignored, and some players even hide OOC from visible windows while grinding. I would suggest next time politely asking by sending a tell, you will surely have better results. Aren't you Toxic/Toxoplasma or what ever? I am pretty sure we are talking about the same time. I was there for the rude gesture. He was not solo. It was not a train, it was a pull that we successfully killed. He was going out of his way to level up two RL friends who are picking up EQ for the first time in 10+ years. I was the Druid helping out.

Regardless, I have no hard feelings over what happened. Olsen is actually a good guy who spends most of his time helping others. Sorry you seem to experience otherwise.

I'm glad he's such a good guy that solo or PLing he intentionally fuck up other people's gaming experience. Dude even came in once when my friend and I had pit camped for over an hour and started taking mobs right out from under us. Needless to say I started charming his mobs.

Next time Olsen causes an inconvenience to me or in a zone I'm in, I'm petitioning him which I have only ever done to someone once.

Every time I've seen people pull 1000 goblins to PL in Sol A it's resulted in a train. They are hijacking the zone.

For those who want to level to 60 ASAP, that's fine even though you are racing past the best part of the game and into the most boring, ie raids and EC tunnel.

But don't sit in a zone powerleveling to race to 60 at the expense of players who actually want to exp and enjoy the game. Your decision to hog a zone with a bunch of level appropriate characters in it is selfish and slows down or halts their gaming experience altogether. What it boils down to is a bunch of ass holes being selfish when there's a group or two of people just trying to exp a zone.

Want to pl? Go to CT or some other barren zone. Don't do that shit in places like Sol a where the rest of us can hunt the way the game was intended to be played.

Also I'm calling out Olsen and his entire guild. Dude is clearing young goblins solo at 40 and causing train after train, get better at eq dude.

Not condoning power levelling, but with all the healers/casters/SKs in CT is it really a viable place to PL?

I haven't read this whole thread because I have not had the same experience at all. To add my two cents to the well:

I am a little biased since I am able to play in off peak times pretty regularly (GMT+6.5), but in my experience when a PLer was in the area and pulling an entire zone, a friendly tell or /ooc of where I am camping and how many mobs I was soloing is all that it took. They left a couple for me and we both were happy.
