Just because Pickleball first caught on with affluent elderly white people doesn't mean it's not a wonderful sport. It's being played by people of all ages! What's great about Pickleball is that even a novice player (assuming they have at least a little hand-eye coordination) can play decently well. Yes, old people move more poorly and probably don't see as well - some of them at least - but there's plenty of young players (at least where I play) that will run down shots all up and down the court.

It actually was invented for children to play, and adopted quickly by the elderly. Basically, if you aren't within 10 years of the beginning or end of your life you should find something better to do with your time.

I just played sports for 4 hours. It cost me $10. I ate 3 somewhat potent pot cookies an hour before I started playing the sports. Now I'm going to bed.
