Yeah, technically it is a scam, Lite did the same thing for 10k off another new player.

It's a shame really, you are basically griefing a player out of at least 20 hours worth of play time when u scam that much plat using a berzerked warrior either boxed or played by a pal.

This was actually a setup just not the way you guys think. Holocaust was worried Lite and Co. would burn out losing so many raid mobs. So we set up this trade to give them some incentive to contest.

We knew they needed the money and were just to proud to accept a handout so we orchestrated this elaborate scheme to keep them interested. And just look how happy they are, sometimes you have to let the kids win or they pout.
