Fear and charm were disabled on live because they were almost always used to cause exp loss in some fashion, which far outweighed their legitimate use in PVP.

Fearing pets working as intended (have not tried to fear a mage pet inawhile).

I.e. The fear lands on pets.

We're far past the time line for fear and charm working in pvp anyways.

It was fixed well before Kunark.

Those luls will never have their moment in the sun.

Best exp loss was fearing dudes out of the bank in Kelethin. Right off the ledge and plummeting to their deaths.

I dunno, charm+thorns in Misty thicket with a druid charming a bear was pretty loltastic. I can just imagine the look on the faces of people when they are sitting safely behind the guards, a bear attacks them and they immediately get rolled by the guards for no apparent reason.

I always wondered how that worked, from a coding standpoint. Why did NPCs assist in attacking? So weird. Priest of Discord was fantastic for this.
