Lawyer hat? The dude is leading the group of miscreants that started off a chain reaction that screwed over rest of the server. He asked what I wanted him to do and I said go away. If TMO and IB aren't around then everyone else can have a good time.

Every single time TMO does something shitty, people like Xasten come in here and try to rationalize being an asshole. I guess I've given up trying to think they can be better. Best solution for the majority of the people on P99 is for them to go away.

I'm sorry Xasten, but that doesn't fly. When you ported up I'm sure IB flooded OOC with irritated complaints. At that point, the logical thing to do was back down:

If IB's raid suspension did not apply to sky, then you would be honoring the agreement.
If IB's raid suspension applied to Sky, then Sirken would probably extend their raid ban for another week and you guys would get a whole bunch of VP mobs while only losing noble.

Basically you guys saw the opportunity to play rule lawyer against IB. They threw a fit and killed 3 OOAs. Then Taken figured that if they killed their OOA/Hand they could get a few extra efreeti drops and point the finger at you guys.

As I said, the whole business just makes me sad, but it's what I've come to expect from the P1999 endgame where the average player's pixel lust makes a coke whore look rational.

I'm not rationalizing anything. I explicitly said we shouldn't have rubbed salt in IB's wound. It was not good form, and we should have communicated a lot more to put the question of propriety to rest. The question for us was "could we?" when it needed to be "should we?"

Of course, you're too busy nursing the chip on your shoulder to recognize that not everyone's out to get you. If you'd pay even the slightest bit of attention, you'd realize that I'm only of the only people in TMO that bothered to even give a shit about the way you want to play this game.

Not a single /ooc was broadcasted from an IB member. Also, not a single tell was sent to an officer by their leadership. Most likely, the act was calculated before hand in this fashion "No one say anything, let them kill our noble and we'll just kill the overseers." I assume this is the same behavior that follows suit of engaging a Fay that they did not have FTE on.
