Personally i think they shouldnt touch group xp. Yeah its a bit fast but we need that breath of fresh air, that influx of population. Its a morale booster for everyone and i think itll be a huge morale booster once again if we can break 300. Maybe slightly reducing xp, i dont know. Id wait till server breaks 500 IMO before even starting to think about reducing group xp.

Since duoing is 90% id bring soloing to 80% or something. Grouping bonus is a good thing. Making people stick around for groups to happen more often, more of a good thing.

This logic assumes that everyone plays the game for the same reason as you: To overcome all obstacles and prove your manhood/whatever.

Some of us are just geeks wanting nostalgia with some PVP. Sure you can tell us to go back to blue you blubie scum, but then you're missing out on a whole lot of people you can prove your manhood to.

solo xp has +50% modifier compared to blue. this is a pretty good gain. that means you level faster when you are soloing here compared to soloing on blue or in a classic live environment. I'm sorry no one was around to play with you at 11:30 on a sunday. Maybe people weren't playing R99, or they solo'd into the next leveling zone in the time you decided to fap to your upcoming next post that would prove everyone wrong.

Look at it this way (i know you won't), no one is starting on this server without realizing at least one of the following:
1) it is a lower population
2) they will be playing EVERQUEST the endless timesink we all cherish and for some reason still play. this isn't a 'kill four boars, get level 10' it's spend a couple hours and hope to make progress before you die a couple times and lose an entire night's worth of time.
3) oh hey I get +50% xp for soloing? wow that's a nice bonus that is not at all classic!
