Heartbrand, it basically came down to your ego - the fact that people left your tag for another they liked more, despite the fact that everyone remained united in cause. The stuff you fed everyone about needing a single guildchat is cockamamie bullshit - that bridge could have been crossed when the need arose (in Velious).

The alliance could have been handled amicably and productively, but you raged out and didn't give it a chance. You're the one who betrayed the alliance, because you wanted everyone under YOUR tag. Rather than try to work things out (you say you did, I say you're a weakling if that's your best effort) you take the easiest (and most pathetic) road out. You may call it a victory, but I call it a hollow victory; you and yours will eventually tire of the scraps you are receiving. You could have had so much more (and this place could be consistently fun), but you are too weak.

I don't think I could have convinced even 20% of Red Dawn after Azrael left to continue playing nice with Lite at the helm of an alliance between RD/ Azrael. They were already turned off by him. So no, it wouldn't have worked.

It still wouldn't. If we flipped today, we'd lose 20 to Nihilum (that's without Nizzar even offering packages) guaranteed.

Not really. Red Dawn has probably made the biggest gains of any guild in the past two months. I'd say given the makeup of Red Dawn (basically all non 60's) we made a great decision.

I know that I personally wouldn't ally with Azrael, even if they had left on amicable terms. And there's probably a dozen that would follow suit with me.

The initial reason I joined Red Dawn is because Lite was muzzled.
