The hardcoded nature actually encourages PVP, not discourage. There is simply no reason to stop and think if you should attack someone - they can do absolutely nothing to help you so you attack them. Just a small example from my daily EQ life right now... So I've been killing spectres in Feerott. Maybe 50% of the time when I log in there is someone there. Generally it's another unguilded 40-something like myself, so I ask how many they're clearing and ask if I can take a few spawns. Sometimes we end up grouping if its a good combo. 0 times in roughly 5 levels there has there been PVP over this "contested" content. Essentially, we decide that the benefit of working together (or at least not killing each other) outweighs the benefit of a fight. Several of these people I've /friend'ed and talk to on a regular basis now, which I tend to do with any decent player I group with the population being what it is. That's RZ style of play. If I kill this guy, next time I log in and try to get some specs and he is there, we're gonna go at it again. You form a rep and it follows you. SZ style of play in the scenario above would go more as follows... I log in, see someone at specs. I'm on team good, he is on team evil. I attack him. There is no decision making process, aside from the choice to engage or leave the zone. If he is the same team is me, we share, group or I leave the zone because it's camped. On RZ, this scenario results in PVP probably less than 10% of the time. On SZ, assuming 3 evenly split and distributed teams (which of course would not happen, but for this example its good enough) it would result in PVP roughly 66% of the time. I think the reason you believe that a SZ/Teams ruleset will result in less PVP is because you're Nihilum. In a sense, because of the size of your guild you already have a hard coded team. I think it is a fairly reasonable estimate that Nihilum makes up at least 20-30% of the level 60 population, no? So in a sense you have the worst of both worlds here, a hard coded team but also reputation to consider. All I can say, is that from someone with experience, a teams PVP server will have MUCH more PVP.

Teams will end up being a glorified blue server once all the pvp is settled. Should be fun pvp for a few months but one guild/side will emerge as the clear winner. Now on R99 once this happened there was still pvp for many reasons. But on teams most people will just join the winning side and pvp will be extremely limited.
I have no problems with a teams server but please don't try and hide the fact people want a more bluish server.

Lite is an awful leader and borderline retarded player that tries to 3 box and takes 3 hours to do 1 hour of content --BUT-- pras to him for trying, also blame the fact 2 boxing is illegal.
If Lite wasnt hell bent on being the sole authority and not letting people that know what their doing take the ropes Azraep could go further. If Azrael was less exclusive, and I mean if it wasnt 5 different crews excluding people from item camps and exp groups it could be more successful. AZ teamspeak is usually 5 channels with a few people in each, no bonding or team work. They are pixel deprived and the running joke with an ounce of truth is that you wont get anything unless your part of the 5-10 people that share info with Lite (or if your officer Agatha heh heh heh). Lots of drugged out retards that cant form sentences. Calls to rush suicide PvP that forces non 60s to lose an entire night of exp due to corpse camp or brutal corpse runs. Demorilization calls are no good. Sometimes just staying a tight ball and sniping a wanderer and then getting the fuck out is a better move, see Heresy - we would hit and run moral was high we would engage Nihilum with lvl 53s and gtfo with a positive k:d exchange and hoorah people were pumped and had fun. As Chopper would say, GET IN THE VAN! Lots of talented people [Colgate Silikten Jersey (not sickpuppy n thrm but the Dacuk Abysal 1s)], how ever they have low play times. Also doing Chopper dirty, yall retarded.

Kergan dawg no offense you sound like a bluebie.
If I log on to do specs and someone is there, I 100% attack them always. I won't be able to do that on teams because the shits blue
