Besides, you can't tell someone how to think or how to act.

Get over it.
Isn't that all just repeating what I already said?
But now you apply it to those that tell others they have no right to choose different gender for their fictional game character. Such a double standard is just not logical...

Way to have the point zoom 10 yards above your head. It's just semi-creepy to me. Not enough that I care, it's just why I don't do it.
I just skipped to the punch-line, where the thread will go anyhoot. Topic has been on about every game/mmo forum multiple times and with sometimes 100's of posts each. The bottom line is that there are just too many boys that don't get out enough ^_^ And true that is since so many are now shut-ins these days as they just "socialize" on the internet and get fat.

Your fault for playing a female.
hmmm... changed/edited your post, eh? As for that, I don't. So I guess the fault lays with you. lol
*waits for content of post to change again*

It's human nature. You just need to accept that when you play a female character you're going to get passes and people role-playing a smitten lover. You should know that already. It really shouldn't surprise you at all.

Hmm? again, I don't play a fembot. However, I have known/played with many that did even back in my pre-mmo MUD days. You are manipulating what I originally said, as I never said anything about what you just mentioned. Never said a word about being hit-on or whatever (wrong perspective lad), only the whining of those that can't handle others playing a fictional game character that is a different gender than themselves. Peeps that play them are not gay, confused, creepy or anything like that... well except those that are no matter what gender they select lol

All the guys disappointed because the person they were hitting on was not a girl. Have you tried a dating service/site? Maybe get out now and then even? It's a game, get over it; many been doing it since before M59 even lol
Women playing male characters too :P

EQ and even old MUD's like Gemstone and Dragonrealms had tons of guys playing female characters. If anything there are more actual female players then ever before.

I've met several women over the last few years IRL that turned out to be active MMO players.

Things I've learned from this thread: If you drink beer or go to the superbowl you're into incest / rape.

I only play female avatars, male avatars bore the shit out of me... if I wanted to play a male avatar I would go outside and be badass. I look badass IRL. As a chick avatar I also look badass, but something badass that I want to look at that I cannot be or have (or wan't to put up with).

I also dont advertise that i'm a chick...

Also these games should have a lil *sticky at logon that says

*warning all characters depicted are fictional

On a more cereberal note, ive met plenty doods that can write an awesome chick... Robert Jordan I'm lookin at your grave... he wrote a ton of cool chicks in his stories...

So yeah, I'm even honestly cool with doods who want to RP chicks anonymously... if it looks and smells like one, and clucks like one, it might as well be one for all intents and purposes...

More than you, I think LOL I'm a girl who plays a girl and I get "thx bro" and "sup dude" quite often. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Someone once said to me when it comes to online RPGs, usually GIRL = Guy In Real Life
