+1 again to Bella, good to see a Guild protecting the best interests of the server rather than just themselves. Paints you and your entire guild in a positive light [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I dont think that im the shit at all. I think im one of the few people that is actually willing to stick up for new players on the server. How do you think those guys feel when they log on and see a high level player camping the only part of the zone where they can get XP? OOC chat was full of people who were pissed off. But these players couldnt do anything about it. I could, and did. I think we all want to see the server population grow, and the way to do that is not by letting level 45 characters camp a lvl 4-16 zone.

You know what I do when I want to get belts and pads for an alt? I pay the hundred plat or so that it would take to buy them from new players, and actually help them out in the process. If this guy took his shaman and camped for the same amount of time in a zone appropriate for his level, he could have had that plat in less time than it took to camp the TR and get the belts/pads himself. Oh, and it wouldnt have inconvenienced anyone in the process.

The fact of the matter is, when p99 GMs start allowing high level characters to push around noobs in noob zones, it turns new players off from the game. If the rules allow it, then the rules need to be changed. And until that happens, im going to stick up for those guys, whether you all like it or not. The fact of the matter is that letting level 45/54 characters camping a noob zone, when there is a level appropriate group waiting for the spot, is bullshit.

Now, like I said, I would have left this at a petition. But this guy threatened to train me after I drew aggro from a single mob and killed it. Pretty sure threatening to train people is against the rules too. I waited for some GM intervention, none came, so I took matters into my own hands to make a point. And I would do it again. This behavior needs to stop.

Ten points to whomever can name the source of the second quote.

Hint: it's the same source as the first quote.

I must be awesome at this game, I managed to get past level 12 without even going to Crushbone!
