Crashing when camping, every time

I crash on camping every single time even after doing the compatibility mode thing in win10

Also, I absolutely hate windows 10. "Let's finish setting up your device!" - NO. Fuck off.

I've been getting random black screens with the error dialog: "DeviceReset() Failed" Click the 'OK' box and it goes to desktop.

Anyone ever seen this?

dgVoodoo2 fixes a lot of DeviceReset errors

compatibility mode on eqgame.exe fixed the crashing but totally bugged out my resolution, graphics (made them far worse), UI, hotkeys, everything, wipes it all out and have to start from scratch every time I launch the game. It won't save any of my adjustments. Please help.
