This is definitely fun to mess around on. Props to Abacab for putting it up. Why is all the Luclin shit in the game though? Do most people really want that?
And what's with the resist system? Is it the same used on Red? I was regularly getting rooted and snared with 150+ MR and no Tash/Malo on me. That's horribly unclassic, and if that's the current state on Red, it's no fucking wonder nobody plays there. EQ PvP with roots and snares landing all the time on fully geared characters is absolutely retarded. | ||

Nah obv I didn't expect classic on a custom server. Was just hoping for something approximating classic PvP mechanics/resists. Which means any type of movement disabling spell should basically never land at 120+ MR, much less 150 or higher. Shouldn't have to run around with 300 MR to avoid a fucking root.
Guess I will have to wait for Teams and hope they get it right. | ||

Was a fun server to mess around on. All in all, it is just one group sitting at CB ZL and ganking whoever zones in. Cool for a few hours, but after that it's eh. At least Kings and Bandits PvP server had custom PvE content etc, not just 2 zones. BTW whats the point in having those mobs in Unrest and what not? Killed a few after I got some pvp to see if they dropped anything but 3-4 mobs later nada but like 2-3 plat.

he enabled level 65 and you have to grind, there are named NPCs in unrest that drop VP 2.0 loot
putting in pve tbh makes it far less interesting to me | ||
