heartbrand just wants a new server to cry about, since no one listens to him in wow.

he cant get enough attention there since his cries are muffled by everyone elses cries.

======== Perfect hardcore mode server, Item's would trade, people would have a fresh start when they died if they were smart enough to bank their gear, the game wouldn't particularly favor melees/vs casters as bad as the custom classic patch release crap we have now etc... server would be pretty MUD like.

That sounds like a good server to me. We don't need kunark for a long time. I always felt it was ruahed on pvp99 to try to give the server vitality. A vain attempt since what everyone really wanted was fixes for the basics.

What seems like a reasonable option for a non discord server would be to make a new PvP server alongside the current one and just see what people would rather play. If the new server fails to work out...we can all crawl back to r99 dregs which are pretty cool anyways. Can't lose.

You all can find me on the new server as a cleric named gustoo.

I think we can all agree that red and boxes in general, at least until velious, is/are pretty stale. I was thinking about what the most fun part of a box is and for me it's that first month when everyone is new and he newb zones are packed. Why not have a perma death discord server with scoreboard etc.? Seems ez to do, have no gm intervention apart from hacking, prosper.

Discord server was some of the most fun I've had in any game ever, even with all the cheating. Imagine the ForumQuest when someone's level 50 gets killed back down to level 1.
