I meant my toon but yeah, I didnt encounter anyone, one person running through zone who said hi.

But it was the most exiting 12 levels of my life, and I shit bricks when that other person ran through zone =)

I think he was 46..high elf and his bro played a ranger.

On the Sony final list he was not there because name violated naming policy.

How would half elves be aligned, would they get to choose? The elven tank classes would be very underpowered and would not have shammy buffs.

They get barb shams, sullon did it fairly well, but we could always unlock a few classes for a few races

Half elves are all part of the elf team. On VZ the only deity they could pick was Tunare, lol [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

And why would elven tanks be underpowered? For the longest time, my live guild's MT was a wood elf warrior. Then I went xteam and most of our raid MTs were dark elf warriors, who have worse stats than wood elves.

Ogre hp/stun immunity is a decent bonus to playing the race, but not at all necessary.

EDIT: And VZ teams weren't very well balanced, SZ in all honesty did the team makeup much better. On VZ:

Elves lacked monk, shaman, necro, SK
Humans had all classes
Shorts lacked ranger, bard, SK, shaman, monk
Darks lacked bard, ranger, paladin, druid

SZ teams:
Evils lacked ranger, paladin, druid
Goods and Neuts both lacked SK, necro

I prefer VZ teams for nostalgic reasons, but the SZ teams would be better in actuality.

SZ was only slightly better in class split. Over all Teams split on SZ was total fail & worse then VZ Teams imo. It was like a 2 team server where the "Good" Team was cut into 3rds. 2 of the 3rds being merged into Team Neut & the last 3rd being called Team Good. Good Team had ZERO Team only races while team evil had a BUNCH & I think neut had one or two. Having a Team only race is HUGE for any Team. Each Team needs the same number of Team only races.

SZ teams were a complete disaster at launch because of the extreme imbalanced teams that only the most braindead of rocks should have missed. SonyDev = one of the less intelligent species of rock. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I would Love a Hard Coded Tallon Zek/Vallon Zek server with better Class Balance among teams.

Human Team is good as is with all classes

Add Gnome SK, Gnome Monk, Halfling Bard & Halfling Shaman to Short

Add Half Elf SK, Half Elf Shaman & Wood Elf Monk to Elves

Dark Team is OP with 4 races but you could add Dark Elf Bards if you wanted.

Sounds like a decent mix. Halfing shamans eeewww ;p... I would do dwarf shamans instead.
