My wife (then girlfriend) still often talks about the times I ditched her (10 years ago) to raid instead of go out drinking/dancing.

Also, how else was I supposed to get my alts their eyepatch of plunder?

54 hours straight camping stormfeather for my eyepatch on live...if I had had a GF at the time I wouldnt have after that camp lol.

I ended up just camping my alts near his spawn point and would log them on intermittently to check - especially after server reboots, etc. I think it took a month or two, but eventually all three of them had their patches.

I'd say "I can't imagine myself doing that these days", but that would be a lie.

but a status change means progress, right? i mean for it to be locked that means they at least powered the machine back up? im in withdrawal.. luckily beer is helping
