First fix: 4 lvl range / remove custom "is your body ready text"
Second fix: remove 5% chance to ignore resists, make resistances at least more effective past 120
Third fix: item loot
Last fix: eventually implement true classic resist system

i see no skean/tstaff among those fixes

furthermore classic for young gloinz is a no level range server with xp loss on death, none of this baggy mcbag baby back bullshit

There are 2 sets of classics i guess, im not too familiar with TZ/VZ which i think are similar to SZ.

I cant see myself enjoying EQ pvp with this kind of penalty for engaging in pvp in a game that has this limited amount of things to do.

I dont know what the SZ pvp scene looked like but from what i can gather it must have been boring as fuck.

I could and did spend entire afternoons with my wizard on the Gfay platforms / around crushbone duking it out with other players, thats my classic experience.

Exp penalty on PVP death is good, players abusing it to grief is bad. I think removing it entirely is a bad fix. It would be better to give players a buff after death that prevents them from PVP exp loss as long as they don't cast/loot corpse.

this dudes making a lot of sense

but also yellowtext (with zone) in place alerts the server of any potential bindcamp grief, by the time the camper's enemies (usually numerous) arrive, even with the old exp loss system in place it would be tough to even cause a whole bubble to be lost. seriously, i dont think you all realize how small pvp exp loss was... actually a pretty grueling task to cause serious loss

seems fair to undo all the hard work the camper(s) did by restoring lost exp tho, seems real fuckin fair [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

this server is already a zerg fest, xp loss only caters to that crowd. also not a classic mechanic without hard coded TEAMS.
