Guy Pierce is the Mandarin; Ben Kingsley is just an actor paid by Pierce to act as the Mandarin in front of the cameras.

The Vice-President is a willing participant in the Mandarin's plot.

War Machine saves the President.

Pepper Potts kills Guy Pierce (the Mandarin.)

Tony Stark destroys all of the Iron Man suits.

Tony Stark has the shrapnel around his heart removed, eliminating his need for an arc reactor implanted in his chest.

Tony Stark disposes of his arc reactor.

The whole thing was quite a let down tbh. They are probably going to tie in some, o0o0o stark saved 1 last suit and reactor just for himself or some bullshit. he destroyed war machine suit as well. maybe he just didnt like the black guy having a suit as nice as his?
