To me, Players like Heartbrand are repercussions of people doing rotten things. Heartbrand has only ever been cool to me, but he can dish it out if he chooses. Honestly, sometimes it's nice to see Heartbrand push around the people who grief on a regular basis.

lol. the DAY i joined <red dawn> (precursor to <azrael>, <azrael> is red dawn without heartbrand) Heartbrand asked me for info to "any clerics or druids i had" for guild purposes. (yea the fuck right, even if i had any, why would i give to some dude i don't even know?) literally 1 week later, heartbrand stripped every toon he had access to, in addition to guild bank, of <red dawn> (of which he was a CO-LEADER of) and switched over to Nihilum.

Bro. Nihilum leadership are hackers, exploiters, toon strippers, and general scum. Nihi came here for formed their own guild on red, BECAUSE they were banned on blue. Nizzar has been frapsed using MQ2. Of course none of these guys will admit it.. but they are RMTing, MQing, and immersing themselves like they got cement blocks chained to their feet.


Most nihi are fine. but leaders are scumbags. Azrael, you might not like a guy or two, but the guild and its leadership are legit. Don't know who did you wrong, but they probably didn't warp, /face, or train and instaplug ontop of you.

Yeah getting a 5 minute glimpse of someone in game whether they speak to you or say hi or whatever is not what you should be basing your opinions off. I have multiple 40-50 level characters that RL friends leveled up then quit playing, occasionally I log them on for boredom to play around with and get a little exp. They are all untagged except one and no one knows who I am on them. I have seen how both nihilum and azrael act to unsuspecting 'newbs' with no allegiances yet. They either were usually nice and chatted me up about my future on the server(nihilum tried to dig a little deeper in regards to friends/where i came from) The only real PKing came from FoH and the random nihi alt guild tyva or whatever attempts. Either way I have yet to have a bad experience on this server.

Rolling red, You're gonna die eventually and if you have no help/guild the CR is going to suck if its somewhere far. Choose sides or don't choose sides, Either way whatever guild you join the side will be chosen for you. No matter which you join, You will still encounter a few asshats per guild.

As a new player on red, I was also leaning towards applying to Azreal, mainly because I have a natural inclination to side with the "underdogs" (e.g. I was in Zeph from ToV to the guilds death back on VZ). However, my very brief interactions with the leadership of Azreal and Nihilum have made me reconsider.

The one time I met Nizzar, he was very pleasant to chat with and did out of group DPS, basically power leveling my wife and I for ~20 mins. On the other hand, the only time I have interacted with Lite, he was griefing us by highsun'ing every mob we pulled, which subsequently trained my wife after he zoned the agro.

Now, I know these might be two isolated incidents and not representative behavior of both individuals / guilds as a whole, but my point is, first impressions matter.


P.S. I am reminded of the old idiom: you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

You cant really get butthurt when youre getting PLed by one of the two top guild leaders, and the other one comes to stop it.

On a serious note - as someone who has been on this server for a grand total of about 12 days; I've come to the assumption that Azrael is the majority of this servers mongoloid faggot playerbase.

Is this based on a /played of your character, or literally 12 days RL time since you rolled here? Because seeing as you already have gear and 5/55 rings to give away kind of makes the impression of 12 days a bit odd.(referring to posts you made 2-3 months ago)
