The fun part of Everquest is competition over limited PVE resources. rotations suck all the fun out of everything... On this server the dynamic is really interesting ... we have a bunch of mostly normal people who play this game way too much (awakened), a bunch of otaku weirdos led by pizza delivery boy (aftermath), the rejects of the above two guilds (rustle) and then everyone else who is a mix of the above three groups but have their real life priorities straight and are stoked to get the slightest piece of the pie....its really exciting watching anonymous go for golems and putting in more effort per capita than either aftermath or awakened do in a week killing the big targets....claw your way up guys go for it!!

I didn't see anything in those fraps that suggests kiting or Dain being stuck in the wall for the 5 minutes that he was unaggro. It's been said there were 3 angles of fraps - can we see the other 2?

The fact that Snackums had adequate time to turn in two quests to Dain after he got back to the well in and of itself disproves your assertion that you were unable to pull him.
