I have one 60 and another over 55. I have been battling with the choice of starting on red. But I can't get past starting with literally nothing again. Took me like 3 hours to get to level 6 as a Druid in gfay. And I haven't even pvp'd yet. So that's not including the rage of getting corpse camped.

Question: I love Paladins. Viable? People like em? Raid worthy? Can I get pretty things relatively easily? Am I just going to get smashed to pieces cause I can't dps for doo-doo?

On blue, Paladins are the least played class so a lot of their gear is cheaper relative to the rest. How is it on red?

Anyway, I *love* PVP, but when EQ came out I stuck to the safety of classic regular servers and never really got into it with EQ.

From what I remember pal lies are good in pvp. Blind, stuns and 2h weps. Could be wrong though

They're annoying to fight in a pvp situation for obvious reasons. Not the best to start on without any gear but you'll encounter people with a few items to pass on. Worth chatting with <Fresh> once you get a few levels, they're always keen to welcome new players to the server.

Again, make level 10 and I can probably pass you a green jade broadsword. Nothing too fancy in blue terms but it would take the edge off if you're soloing or grouped with limited dps.

I say level 10 because I've passed out some items before and people sometimes vanish into the ether [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Something else to consider with race... dwarf paladins definitely the best starting stats.

"Jousting" with 2h weapons is a thing in on EQ pvp servers - running at someone, hitting attack at the right moment etc, getting a decent 2h shouldn't be too hard.

I thought Holocaust was the guild to join on red? And how do Druids fare in pvp? I hear they are good? Just dot and snare kite I assume
