Read your forums; the attempted explanation at why Zeelot has FTE is on there per Alovia in about 9 steps. The first 4 or 5 concern Merkk.

I think you can get a fizzle if you're DA and use an instant click or pot, if you're DA and try to cast a spell (as a caster) you'll get the "you cannot cast spells while immune" message, but i think its a fizzle if youre using a clicky. Just a hunch...

Some no lifer that's currently in game should try that and report back

just tried da and jboots with my cleric and it won't let you even cast it so that's wrong. can't confirm the pots.

When zeelots logs start he left out the initial engage which I had agro and he had to wait, when his logs start... I was dead. he had to fd and wait since I beat him to trak, also had to let trak reset, lost fte to options jav.

Now how can I fizzle shit after i'm dead n gone?

I tried my hardest to debunk it Chest, most I can do is interrupt a spell, while DA, nada.
Not to mention I was dead when this happened

Something I'm still curious about is the gather shadows message. We see it fading off Zeelot with the appropriate message, but in his log there is no message received where he would have conceivably cast it.

Cast on you: You gather shadows about you.
Cast on other: Soandso steps into the shadows and disappears.
Effect Fades: Your shadows fade.

Is this a bug, or is this more proof that things have been removed from Zeelot's log? Can anyone test this out?
