the image is artifacted to hell. from what you can see in the photos they are both silver folders with a drop point shaped blade (the kind you would use to stab and kill someone, not a blade shape used as a tool) and silver metal handle of the same length and an indent between the handle and the lock. idk dude, how much do you know about knives?

but of course the cops planted the knife on them, that's why you can see him stop and turn, something one would only do in that situation if they were planning on stabbing the cop which was within stabbing distance.

i get how the gut reactions happen here but get a grip, this is a life or death situation. based on the man's actions alone, even if he had no knife and was only pretending to draw a weapon his death was justified. a lot of you seem not to understand how explosive a knife fight can get when someone's caught by surprise and there's no distance to cover between the knife wielder and the target. i am impressed by that cop's quick draw and accuracy, that video was a split second reaction away from seeing 2+ cops get stabbed.

as someone who saw Treyvon's facebook page before it was memoryholed, I'd say the opposite happens. he was selling weed, crack, and talking about robbing people on his public facebook page but the media painted him to be a good kid who never did anything wrong and definitely wouldn't be prowling for burglaries.

wouldn't that be the media painting an inaccurate image of him in order to garner sympathy? it's not a smear campaign if its the truth, and the truth is being surpressed. you can't guilt people for speaking the truth about something they've been getting constantly guilted for in society.

Show an instance where the perp wasn't resisting arrest or evading or trying to kill the police officer.
