Personally, I'd rather have no new content than the content that Phinny has coming very soon. Who wants to pay to play GoD over again? Not it.

Sounds like someone doesn't like challenging raid content...

GoD was just mudflation for the top-end guilds with nothing new for the regular player. It's up there with LoY for me as the most trash-tier expansion I saw while I was playing, but at least LoY had shared banks, extra bank slots for each character, Veksar, and new research.

More like someone doesn't like shitty raid content. GoD was one of the most awful expansions to date. Don't deny it. Hell... it was broken for the longest time and they even relied on its challenge to give themselves time to fix the problems... Sadly it wasn't moreso challenging than broken and that made it damn near impossible to climax until the following expansions were already dropped.

Not challenging.. A glitchy shitfest of horrible dialogue.

How many days did it take to down super challenging Velious content on super challenging P99?
Longer than it takes to hand a raid token in and smash an instanced loot pinata.

By the end of a 3 month expansion cycle I'm bored to fucking tears of raiding the same shit every week. Idk how these mouth breathers get motivated to stare at walls for hours and hours every week to kill the same fucking shit they've been killing for year(s). If it's not mental illness what would you call it?
Come again? Contradicting yourself in less than 3 pages?

So you get bored after 3 months, what would rotations or instancing on P99 do to the population after 3 years?

I still don't understand why anyone is willing to shitsock for years old pixels on a server that's literally going nowhere for the rest of time.
Whereas you're playing on a fast track server that's getting rolled into a 19 year old server with mudflation at the end. I think your perspective needs a little more...perspective [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Attacking the reasoning of the players seems to be a major sticking point here.

I don't care about the reasoning. I often sit for 16hrs straight looking at spawns, I'll happily track anything and read a book etc. Have done for years, I don't mind it, or being stuck in velious./ What I do mind is how I and my fellow server friends from all guilds spend their time stuck here.

What I don't understand is why people still pull raids at ridiculous hours.

I'd love to see the following kind of setup:
A relative soft cut of 11pm EST raiding. Sure if vulak's got 2 hours left in window, go for it and sock that shit.
A hard cut at 1am EST.

Have the majors even have euro/asia centric raids, hell we could do joint raids on off hours.

Same goes for the morning, something like 8-9am EST to start the sock. Get the ball rolling.

And if everyone's awake and on, and there's 6 targets up overnight? Just agree to race for two, split two and leave two up for 4 hours or something to give the CSG's a shot.

It means everyone gets to sleep. Sneaky eurotrash fucks get their classic as fuck late night snipes on smaller mobs (and thats 100% classic).
You aren't welfaring shit to anyone like csg/fv/rustled/europa/infernus. Merely giving them a window of time to have a crack. Maybe a self imposed limit of one mob per night for those guys except on saturdays or something?

Whole lot of us need to come together though to limit the 'on the line' shit, without 'rotating', and with healthy sleep and work schedules. I'm sure it's workable and without having 439 paragraphs of clauses. Just one, that says only be a cunt one time per week.

Every guild gets 1 cunt point per week: For a snipe, for a vulture, etc. Not to train someone.

Frankly the above I'd estimate AA still gets 80% of the mobs they always have, for 25% of the effort, and everyone else puts in the same effort or more to get a few more. If they can't hack it, too bad, more for AA.
It's a nice idea, but according to a couple dozen people who won't go with this, you haven't earned your artificial currency unless you put in artificial work which is a genuine waste of time.

People seem to forget that not everyone lives in EST, nor does everyone go to bed at the stroke of midnight and wake up at 8am.

It's been said a million times, but the ONLY thing that will fix the raid scene on this server is regular weekly repops. Period.
