Alternate theory: elon is a notorious troll and did that because he's keenly aware of how his critics perceive anything he does.

If he was signalling that he is literally supportive of the nazi party from ww2 that would at least be an interesting 3rd act!

I'd believe that he named nerualink nerualink as a troll for sure.

But... I also think he would admit that he named it that and joke about it all the time if he did.

Or.... he's in on the joke and the jokes just on us!
