Get your coats out. The inflation that has been transitory for the past year and a half will cause your heating bill to go up 54% this winter per the US Government. Our government has an outstanding track record in regards to inflation estimates thus far so I'm sure this is a conservative estimate and there is no way it will actually be higher than that.

I don't expect this to affect WA. We have dams and stuff, we don't run on carbon.

Dams do need a bit of carbon to function. Also co2 feeds plants, which feed us. Why does everyone think it's bad?

I mean, if you have a viable solution to carbon emissions that doesn't require just killing a bunch of people I'd love to hear it. Teslas are electric cars charged by burning fossile fuels. Electricity burns fossile fuels. Wind and hydroelectric don't even remotely cover the energy consumption of our species. What is your plan?
