I'm trying to decide if that looks fun to play. It's pretty, but it seems an awful lot like a cutscene with quick time events more than an interactive game.

Yeah it came up on algorithm after watching more Fatekeeper footage. Most interesting is the supposed ability to control two characters at once, or at least taking advantage of their abilities interchangably in order to exploit boss weak points.

If the game hashed out as originally intended, MUD influences taken into account, than camping out at inns would have preserved no rent items. No more having to corpse shadowed rapier and suddenly shaded torch becomes ezpz high value drop. Pretty neat. Assuming this feature would have only applied the city inns and not others like EC's inn 1-2, giving players yet another reason to return to town before logging off.

Inns would have been SO COOL. Man. Imagine not corpsing items, and traveling to town after a night of HS??
Frack. Staying in the outpost would have an advantage for dark races or factioned ones. DAMN. Custom content: PLZ I used to camp all my characters in the same bedroom in west freeport. It was my "apartment" That way I could drop for recharges easy etc, it was great. There was a merchant rightoutside the room too. It was my home. I explore the inns in this game all the time, and they are so awesome, yet pointless. Seeing people sitting, camping, and hanging out in the rooms down the halls would have been so cool. In another interview, they discussed the actual code itself, millions of spaghetti lines to manage apparently, noting how easily one minute change could lead to unintended changes elsewhere, some more significant than others. In that case, consuming a certain beverage gave a song message, regardless of the player's class. The most recent one here was hiw certain Velious models devolved from prismatic to classic versions of themselves, which was amusing and felt like something that would have happened in classic.
Looking under the hood of this Ford Model T and attempting to soup/supe it up has gotta be a daunting task.
