It's pretty easy. You just use the p99 gRPC protocol buffer interface. Trying to do it with python via the deprecated JSON REST API is just dumb and you deserve to lose. lulz

I forgot to add: there's also the federated XMPP interface for robustness but that's lose-lose similarly to the deprecated JSON API because you spend way too many cycles marshalling XML and so the toon may not steer 100% correctly. That's like nano-seconds that mean you lose the FTE automatically. This is serious business.
