The problem I think is not that there are hot women or men on TV. It's that its the norm. Lets do a show about judges! Bang, all the judges are photoshoped milfs and one of them is in her mid-20s with some grey highlights.

In the past, the men would be relatively normal looking except the main character tended to be hotter than average...Now the guys are similarly hot...I would argue moreso tbh...It takes a lot more exercise to pass for hot as a guy on modern media than it does for women.

This is Tom Brady shirtless:

Sure he's hot enough to be a pro football player IRL...they probably just wouldn't let him play one on T.V...That's just not going to cut it. Meanwhile, back here IRL -- Tom Brady is in better shape than the vast majority of men his age...even then most younger than him.

This is Megan Fox in transformers playing the hot highschool girl next door:

Is that really an appropriate depiction for every teenage boy to grow up with? That's what a hot high school girl looks like? Megan Fox is born the same year as me, she is 32... that means besides the over the top model imagery and camra mods... she was 22-23. This is what she looked like at 18:

By then everyone that knew her was telling her to get into modeling acting etc because she was clearly way hotter than average. No way she would be going out with some random high school geek. But that is basically every movie a teenage boy watches...a geek getting with a 23 year old Meagan Fox.

I'm just quoting this post so irulan goes through the trouble of temporarily turning off his block so he can see what and why quoting him.

Also so long as you're blocking me I will refer to you as a male.

The rest of you can carry on.

While science has substantiated truths which ought be self-evident, the delusion of comparable relevance in all fields remains a comforting one for those bound by envy and blind to the future.

The immutable truths that females have smaller brains and are less interested in objects than they are in other people are as well established as those of superior female linguistic aptitude and long term memory. It should come as no surprise that diminished interest in objects coupled with generally inferior working memory constitutes a very real handicap in the practice of critical thought. Why? The latter should be obvious, but consider the former. It's not so bold a leap ^^

Of course females generally enjoy less extreme mental volatility and increased relevance of the areas in which they excel, while areas of male excellence continue to atrophy in the shadow of his creations. males are becoming increasingly irrelevant ^^

Socialist candidate Ocasio-Cortez once saw herself as Smithian capitalist, viewed feminism as 'relic'

In a 2009 blog post, Ocasio-Cortez called feminism into question, writing that “the terms ‘feminism’ and ‘empowerment’ don’t seem to capture the priorities of our generation, and the words themselves sound like relics from the past, frumpy and outdated.”

“We no longer live in the same fight for equality of prior generations, we have moved to the widely accepted reality that marginalizing 50% of a given population doesn’t make much sense, mathematically or socially,” she wrote.
See if your a free thinking millennial...this is very obvious...Shit is different for 20-30 year old women now than it was 30 years ago when their professors were in school. The complete lack of awareness of this speaks to the narcissism of the older generations more than anything.

Almost every modern democratic socialist is a "capitalist," in a broad since. They believe markets are necessary because command economies don't work and are too prone to corruption. But they believe in mixed capitalism rather than neoliberalism.

It's not that hard to understand if you don't have a multi-billionaire dollar concerted disinformation effort targeting you.
