It's also pretty glaringly obvious that like every single american news outlet other than fox skews left, which is fundamentally asymmetrical. And that's not to say that fox doesn't do the same thing, but again, not all biased cherry picked media headlines are created equal. They are generally all deceptive in some way, but some can be more deceptive and some can be less.

Every single person who posts here who leans left always seems to package some kind of 4th grade insult into their posts. "Those of us who can learn", "trumptard" (which is basically just the word retard), and thinly veiled suggestions that anyone who supports trump or votes for him should die or deserves to die. This is alarming to me, as somebody who has always considered myself part of the left. I do not see right wing people doing this almost ever. Wishing for the death of your political opposition is like the definition of fascism, you can't just say "well I'm ANTI fascist!" and that means you actually are.

You comparing Mormons to everyone else? I live in Houston, 50% of whites are obese here and at least 100% of blacks and Hispanics are. Mormons are svelte in comparison, and I haven’t seen anywhere else except for maybe Colorado where people are healthier than Utah

Additionally, the average amount of growth during 4 year presidential terms has been +58% while democrats have held office, and ONE HALF of that at 29% while republicans have held office.

Keep focusing on micro economic shit like the foreign supply chain of products sold in USA, while other country's economies have run laps on us during Republicans reigns. Okay, well I support abortion (not including 3rd trimester) gay rights, civil rights for all people and the sanctity of extant human life (IE; I do not wish death on people I disagree with politically). I defend trump because so much of the criticism levied at him is complete horseshit and clearly deceptive. I will happily defend a democrat, in fact I want to, if they receive any unfair criticism. They just haven't been receiving that lately.

I don't hold "progressive" positions, specifically, because I don't like that term. Progressing toward what exactly? Hey guys, "progress" is right there in the name of my ideology, therefor it is always good! No, it's not. It's often very naive and terrible for millions of people. Like marxism and socialism, it sounds great on paper. Then you implement it and ooooops, guess we have to kill everyone who doesn't agree with us. What a great way to organize society.

There's this cool thing you can do where you don't just rigidly adhere to a prescription from one political party or entity. You'll be much less angry and full of resentment and cynicism.
