This entire thread is interesting from a psychological viewpoint. You really can see how people interact with others when they have different ideologies from one another, poorly.

Also, proclaiming "casuals" are the only ones who would find fault with what Maner wrote is wrong. You attach the word "casual" as if it's an insult and thus you really are only showing you too are no less hypocritical and/or judgmental.

What's the problem: that a veteran player can't try a raid guild because they should be expected to know 100% what it will be like in a new guild, or is it the problem that the player in question didn't stay in long enough to get a full experience?

I'm not sure if it's the pain pills, stupidity or the indecisiveness talking but....after this many years of everquest and this many years of P99....you know what to expect from a raid guild. What was your main complaint? You didn't want to invest the time and started bashing them within a week. I think common sense tells you otherwise. Sorry you don't have any.

It strikes a cord for some that Filbus ended up not enjoying his stay in AM. It hurts even more because he has legitimacy on the server and is respected for his gaming ability.

This really seems to have struck a cord in some of AM peeps. It shouldn't.

He never said that AM are awful people, he simply said the time required for raids was too much for him. He even commended some of their players... How the fuck are you AM people angry about anything he said?

Shit didn't work out, just like any relationship that fails sometimes it's not anyone's fault it's just a matter of differences. It's not a matter of being right or wrong.

Dude doesn't want to raid as much as they require when they want it, Who gives a shit? It's his personal opinion and he has a right to feel that way.

Evaluate yourself if you got to bring gender, sexual preferences, suicide, insults into a conversation about what raid guild some anonymous dude chooses to join or not join.

I seriously don't think anyone gives a shit about Filbus. He isn't really respected since he was BDA. I think people just don't really care for his opinion since they are drug induced and half are back and forth opinions. And...based on one of my favorite guotes....his opinion is like having an extra asshole on your elbow.

I agree with all this but your final statement. Casuals are self-proclaimed by themselves. Rustle calls themselves casuals so it's deemed fitting since they tend to be the vocal majority in the past couple pages.

I recovered more quickly than anticipated so I got off pain medication and stopped spending as much time on the comp, thus I knew I wouldn't be around enough to make a 20% RA.

Point me to where I was bashing them lol.

Dude don't want to join a guild full time and so then all of this hatred is levied on him.

I think Philosophy of logic 101 tells you not to give tells that you are on pain pills over the internet. I wouldn't go to a public forum and write incoherent posts while I'm on pain pills, nonetheless start publically announcing it.

If I have to point out where your bashing them and your overall demeanor of "I'll be a warm body and you're doing it wrong, I'm doing it right" to your own guildmates conflicts an issue with the guild you have an app with then I don't really know if there is any point discussing this.
