Shouldn't this apply to the United States military, when we, say, bomb an entire wedding to kill a single target? Or a whole city block to eliminate some so-called terror cell? The military isn't a mob, they can control and direct their violence.

Not to imply there's such a thing as precision bombing.

If anyone makes any claims about the legality of whatever and they don't provide citations and also explain how those are relevant, they're just running their mouth. It's obvious jurisprudence and precedent are not well understood here.
