The only downturns in the economy (as measured by growth in the American stock market) over a 4 year presidential term in the last 65 years have been under the watch of Republican Presidents, care to comment on that? Additionally, the average amount of growth during 4 year presidential terms has been +58% while democrats have held office, and ONE HALF of that at 29% while republicans have held office.

Keep focusing on micro economic shit like the foreign supply chain of products sold in USA, while other country's economies have run laps on us during Republicans reigns. Meanwhile unemployment continues to hit all time highs while you cry about outsourcing? Do you not see the complete hypocrisy of your positions??

Edit: Also, apologies in advance for using facts and logic.
Citing current high unemployment as some facet of republican federal governance is quite dumb. It's like saying almost nobody has died from terrorist attacks in the last two decades if you start counting at sept 12, 2001. The gigantic totally unforseen and unprecedented mega emergency global health crisis that shut everything down *might* have something to do with high unemployment. It was at record lows until this happened. Black american unemployment was at a record low.

They pinned Obama on petty stuff when they could have done it on real issues like his drone strikes. But that doesn't resonate with Americans, his birth place matters more and it's the reason Trump got """"political""".

They’re really good people, pretty much the only ones with principle. Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, etc, mostly full of shit

Utah is also very healthy, and obesity is probably the quickest way you can tell a person isn’t moral

Have you actually lived in Utah? I did on three separate occasions during my life. Most Mormon guys go from slender and healthy through childhood until a few years after they get married. Once the family thing happens most tend to work extra hard to support their family. They also tend to not exercise in addition to eating a second helping of every meal.

While there are quit a few healthy Mormon people there's still a pretty decent number that could use a bit more exercise and less meat and potatoes in their diet.

IMO when Obama expanded the patriot act to the lengths he did that was more scary than the drone strikes. The worst part is our media was silent throughout the entire mess except the ones that lauded it as "he's making our country the safest ever by treating everybody like a hardened criminals" bullshit.

If the last 20 years has taught us (those of us capable of learning) anything is that governmental overreach is ok when your side does it and bad when the other guys do.

People can always, and with some correctness, point to the diabolical shit the other guys are doing. Very few can smell their own.

I don't disagree with the point you're trying to make except that the last sentence is patently false. Obama's legitimate foreign policy failures were well covered.

$250MM-$400MM in debt to a Russian bank which, like the rest of the "private" industry in Russia, was given to mobsters by Yeltsin->Putin.

Multiple sales of real estate at above market prices to Russian Oligarchs.

The fact that Trump stayed in a Moscow hotel which is known for that exact type of surveillance/blackmail scam as reported by MI5, the CIA, and Mossad.

The fact that he was contradicting ALL of his intelligence officials on anything having to do with Russia from the movement he was elected until he was eventually able to push enough of them out. If he knew something they didn't, where did he get that information from?

None of this is a confession, but it's hardly "without any basis in actual fact".

Both sides endlessly criticize one another, that doesn't mean that all criticism is created equal.

It's also pretty glaringly obvious that like every single american news outlet other than fox skews left, which is fundamentally asymmetrical. And that's not to say that fox doesn't do the same thing, but again, not all biased cherry picked media headlines are created equal. They are generally all deceptive in some way, but some can be more deceptive and some can be less.

Every single person who posts here who leans left always seems to package some kind of 4th grade insult into their posts. "Those of us who can learn", "trumptard" (which is basically just the word retard), and thinly veiled suggestions that anyone who supports trump or votes for him should die or deserves to die. This is alarming to me, as somebody who has always considered myself part of the left. I do not see right wing people doing this almost ever. Wishing for the death of your political opposition is like the definition of fascism, you can't just say "well I'm ANTI fascist!" and that means you actually are.
