Do you know with Trump Biden Shapiro pretty much every conversation that’s going on here none of it is about what they say all of it is about like the style of clothes that they wear.

Why do the vipers always talk about the trees, but never mention the forest? Because if they knew about the forest, there would be NO peace.

Neocon is a word largely invented by the American media (mostly in the Bush era). Neoliberal is a word that was used in political science and economics all over the world before it was picked up by some media members.
So a lot of neocons can be called neoliberals as well. It's part of the whole American mind fuck -- where liberal economics is called "conservative" here, liberal everywhere else in the world. The market is not a conservative force. Its a radical transformative force that changes traditional structures frequently ("disruption" is the buzzword). If there is something you want to conserve in American society -- chances are the market isn't gonna help you in the long run. Neocon seems to just be a euphemism for imperialist these days. It used to also suggest the Christian Right platform -- but they are losing sway and its really not a coherent package for the public. At least for my generation and later. There is actually a lot of evidence that the Christian Right did lasting harm to both Republicans and Christian popularity. | ||
