making good progress on Eye of the Beholder having more fun with 5 dollar 35 yr old dos game than i did with Cyberpunk 2077

I almost did daggerfall last night, never played those old elder games.

there's a game designer dude who's rebuilding the engine so it works on modern machines in his spare time so people can play Daggerfall and Arena and in theory make their own expansions n shit for it

i need to reinstall that max modded out graphical overhaul of Morrowind again, i lost my folder when i reformatted and didn't make a backup ;/ shit looked gorgeous though

yeah ive always wanted to play it and some of the early Ultima games, like my first one was 9, i remember being blown away at the time with the presentation with the map and tarot cards and manuals n shit and it's not a well regarded one in the series then a couple months later Everquest came out so didn't have time to go back and play any of em

You can kebind ultima underworld 1 & 2 to be pretty decent, but they are still clunky, not as smooth.

I do recommend those games though bigly!
