The negativity from the right I’ve seen about Oz is calling him a “snake oil salesman” who endorses and pushes products that Oz knows for a fact don’t work because the company pays him. Basically they think he is kind of a fraud. I do remember there being a decent amount of controversy about his claims about the efficacy of products he endorsed on his show in the past

Yeah, he's a weird mix of legit doctor and fraud. It's baffling. I assume it's mostly about making stacks of cash. I didn't know much about him till the BtB episodes on him. Robert has also covered Dr. Phil but he has yet to grow sufficient balls to go after Oprah herself.
